11th March 2016

Back in college days, I had a trip to Hong Kong, one thrilling trip, which is indeed an unforgettable one.
A college trip, friends, a few strangers, where you get to explore the places and also a few people, being with those guys is what made the trip more adventurous.

I had an overnight flight from Indore to Hong Kong via New Delhi scheduled at 02:05 hours, the feeling you get when you're going to travel abroad for the very first time, excitement, that rush and everything.
From the Hong Kong International Airport, I got a shuttle to get going towards the Regal Oriental Hotel, Kowloon, a business class hotel, what else you can wish?

After reaching the hotel and having the breakfast, city tour was scheduled and the first destination was Sky 100, situated at West Kowloon, a top tourist destination which offers a 360° view of Hong Kong. Huge buildings, surrounded by the ocean, just imagine standing on the 100th floor and gazing over one of the busiest locations in the world, it features a double deck high-speed elevator which reaches 100th floor in just 60 seconds, ticket costs an HKD 168(INR 1400).

The next location was Madame Tussauds, which is a wax museum featuring different celebrities, characters and leaders from all over the world, a delight to see, you can't make out if it is actually a statue or a real person, a must see when you're in Hong Kong, costing an HKD 205(INR 1700).

Victoria Peak was the last destination for today, imagine standing on the highest peak of the Hong Kong and gazing at the city lights, one of the most mesmerising locations I've ever seen.

Day-2 of the trip or should I say the most adventurous day of the whole trip, the day was scheduled for a visit to Ocean Park, which is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, animal theme park and amusement park situated in Wong Chuk Hang and Nam Long Shan in the Southern District of Hong Kong, the entry fee including all the rides is HKD 385(INR 3200).
It is surrounded by the ocean and mountains on either side, based on two of the mountains, connected with a ropeway and a private train which carries the tourists to the either of the mountains.

Last day at Hong Kong and it was scheduled for a visit to Disney Land, which is a theme park located on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island. It is located inside the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and it is owned and managed by the Hong Kong International Theme Parks.
The park consists of seven themed areas: Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point, and Toy Story Land.

Disneyland offers a pretty scenic atmosphere, having a few rides, worth taking, it offers many 4d shows, there is a tourist train facility right at the entrance which takes you to all the seven parts.

After the show, I moved back to the hotel and it was all from my trip to Hong Kong, one of the most adventurous places to visit.
3 days are sufficient for a trip to Hong Kong, although you can add a day more if you wish to do some shopping stuff, Hong Kong has one of the largest grey markets in the world, you can get things really cheap in the local market.

And here is what I missed(so that you don't):

    1. Tram ride from Victoria Peak.
    2. Repulse Bay.

Time to sign off guys, do share your reviews and suggestions. Thank you!

    10. I can almost feel your exitement when you flew out of Indiq for the first time! I was only 5 when we left Thailand for Sweden so I cant really remember. When we were in Hongkong we had three days and on a very lowbudget so all those things as Disneyland, Madame Taussau ect were not an option. We walked a lot around the neighbourhood. You didnt mention about food, did you ate well in Hongkong?
