Settling in- Mumbai! 🤩
Hello folks! Been quite long since I have posted anything, you know chores of life, kept me busy.
So this post is gonna be a bit different, its more of my story about settling in Mumbai than a travel one.
Its tough being an introvert and moving to a new place, but when you love the place where you are, I don’t think it matters a lot! So here’s my challenging yet chill life in Mumbai, have a good read!
13th August 2018
This was the day when I was supposed to commence my training at ICICI Manipal Academy.
I won’t talk much about Bangalore, but to know how I moved to Mumbai, you need to know about it.
So yeah, I pursued PGDB at IMA, Bangalore, through which I got placed in the headquarters of ICICI Bank, i.e. ICICI Towers, BKC.
It was an year long journey and thats what kept me away from blogging and stuff, kept me really busy tbh, but this place gave me a lot of memories, a few friends and also my best friend.

29th March 2019
This was my last day at IMA, the day we were supposed to know where we are getting placed.
So, I was so excited that day, chilling with my friends after the last exam, and guess what while we just left the exam hall and were eating our lunch we got to know about our posting, actually some girl shouted it aloud :D
You know the feeling when you dream of something and it turns to be true? 😀
Before even opening my E-mail somewhere I knew, I’m gonna get Mumbai. It was my wish to be in this city, like a dream, to work here and enjoy the vibes.
The moment I opened the mail, my face lighted up the only thing I could read was Mumbai, I didn’t see my department. I just saw the location and my god, I was so happy.
8th April 2019
Thats the day when I finally had to move to Mumbai, so yeah, I reached Mumbai on 6th April so that I could manage things, but trust me it ain't that easy.
I stayed in a hotel, after a week full of home hunt, I finally found a PG near to my office, it was a real struggle.

If I talk about Mumbai, the place is quite different from any city you would go, once you’re here you won’t like any city better.
Most of my weekends are spent being at Bandstand or Marine Drive, sometimes I travel to Pune and over all that, I love to cook delicacies. 😋

Till now Mumbai has been chill, if I tell you my secret, I even prayed at Haji Ali for getting placed in Mumbai when I was here last year.
Now I wait for the Mumbai rains, as I’ve heard a lot about it, I guess it will be as beautiful as it sounds. 😁
That’s all from my side, signing off for now.
I wish you land in where you wish to be, because I’m at a place where I wished to be, so it feels happier.
Also, you should never stop doing what you love to do even when you are swamped with lots of work, follow your passion, live your dreams, it keeps you alive and makes you stronger!😉
Cheerio!!
